Recommendation from the Stewardship Task Force:

Implement a best-practice plan to engage alumni in the identification and generation of new student applicants.

Additional explanation:

This could be through meetings based on shared interests and geography and representing the institution at a college fair when an admission representative is not available.

This recommendation was placed in the Lifelong Engagement Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Engage alumni in the identification of new student applicants, connect prospective students with an alum, and bolster the number of alumni involved as resources for students’ vocational and career aspirations.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 1 and is being monitored by the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
