Recommendation from the Stewardship Task Force:

Create a comprehensive employee wellness model (physical, spiritual, emotional, mental), with a goal that 100 percent of employees participate in at least one aspect of the program each year.

Additional explanation:

Study private industry for best practices. This could expand current offering of health and wellness education seminars, fitness incentives, and health screenings. This includes providing release time for participation.

This recommendation was placed in the Personal Growth and Development Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Create a comprehensive wellness model (physical, spiritual, emotional, mental) and a Health and Wellness Office to implement a campus wide student, faculty, and staff health and wellness program.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 2 and is being monitored by the Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Affairs.
