Recommendation from the Stewardship Task Force:

Actively gather new and different information from alumni and use information to drive alumni engagement—online, at events, face to face, in print (The Gustavus Quarterly, class letters, newsletters), virtually, through social networking, and with video programming.

Additional explanation:

This involves providing appropriate levels of database support to track, disseminate, secure, and mine the information gathered.

This recommendation was placed in the Lifelong Engagement Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Actively gather new and different information from alumni to celebrate achievements more widely throughout campus and to drive all forms of alumni engagement.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 1 and is being monitored by the Vice President for Marketing and Communication.
