Recommendation from the Stewardship Task Force:

Create guidelines for alumni communication by developing a ratio for contacts containing any reference or request for money compared to non-giving contacts.

Additional explanation:

The goal is to increase the number of “touches” with alumni based on industry standards around building loyalty. Meeting this goal would require a systemic approach to track all alumni contacts and target alumni communication and contacts.

This recommendation was placed in the Lifelong Engagement Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Create guidelines for alumni communication by developing a ratio for contacts containing a request for money compared to non-giving contacts.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 3 and is being monitored by the Vice President for Marketing and Communication.
