Recommendation from the Stewardship Task Force:

Establish a system in which all prospective students are connected with an alumna/us.

Additional explanation:

The goals would be to solidify, for both alumni and prospective students, the message of lifelong pride in and commitment to the institution, demonstrate appreciation for alumni, and increase the yield of new students. This may also include involving alumni with interviewing for scholarships or admission.

This recommendation was placed in the Lifelong Engagement Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Engage alumni in the identification of new student applicants, connect prospective students with an alum, and bolster the number of alumni involved as resources for students’ vocational and career aspirations.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 1 and is being monitored by the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
