Recommendation from the Global and Multicultural Initiatives Task Force:

Enhance and strengthen the College’s process to respond, report, and communicate in relation to hate crimes, including appropriate sanctions.

Additional explanation:

It’s important to acknowledge individual and community impacts of hate and bias incidents and to have a strong institutional response to such cases when they arise.

This recommendation was placed in the Partnerships and Collaborations Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Strengthen the College’s process to respond to, report, and communicate hate crimes, and to effectively sanction perpetrators.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 1 and is being monitored by the Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Affairs.
