Recommendation from the Global and Multicultural Initiatives Task Force:

Dramatically increase the recruitment and retention of underrepresented student populations.

Additional explanation:

This will create the multicultural community necessary for students to achieve global and cultural competence. This would involve a review of Admission, registration, and financial aid practices and policies to ensure they support diversity in the student body.

This recommendation was placed in the Tangible Resources Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Build the financial resources necessary to attract and retain top students, including dramatically increasing underrepresented student populations.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 1 and is being monitored by the Vice President for Enrollment Management.
