Recommendation from the Interdisciplinary Programs Task Force:

Develop communities for sophomore students to focus on combining growing disciplinary demands as students move towards declaring a major with continuing commitment to “trans-disciplinary” problems of broad social importance.

This recommendation was placed in the Personal Growth and Development Strategic Framework Substantive Category using the language:

Develop a comprehensive sophomore initiative that may include communities for students to focus on growing academic demands with a commitment to problems of broad social importance.

This recommendation was placed is Tier 3 and is being monitored by the Dean of Students and Vice President for Student Affairs.
